  • Rental Policies

    Rental Payments:

    Customer accounts will be billed once the unit(s) are returned and checked in. Cash account customers will be billed before the unit(s) leave the rental yard. Cash account customers will require a photo ID and credit card before renting. For cash account customers, if additional services are required during the check-in process (refueling charge, excessive cleaning, damage), the customer's credit card stored on file will be charged. 


    Reservations:

    Reservations are encouraged so we can make sure we have the equipment and set-up you require for when and where you need them. There is no charge to reserve items; however, if you want to cancel them, please let us know as soon as possible so we can release the equipment to other customers. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends, holidays, and other busy times. 

  • Equipment Protection Plan

    Every rental contract has a 14% Equipment Protection Plan added to the rental to protect you against accidental damage. There is only one way to decline this option: a copy of the Certificate of Insurance to be provided to J&R Rental.

  • Standard Rental Rates

    Minimum – 4-hour rate or a day (24-hour) rate depending on the equipment.

    Day Rate – 24 consecutive hours out, 8 working hours.

    Week Rate – 7 consecutive days out, 40 working hours.

    Monthly Rate – 28 consecutive days out, 160 working hours.


    *We consider a working day 8 hours on the meter. Day rentals should not exceed 8 hours on the meter; weekly rentals should not exceed 40 hours on the meter, and monthly rentals should not exceed 160 hours on the meter.


    Overnight rental rates during the week:

    For a 4-hour charge, customers can pick up after 3:30 pm and return by 8 am for a 4-hour charge during the week.

  • Equipment Call-Off

    When you (the customer) are done with the equipment, in the case of a customer pick-up, please return the equipment to our convenient location in a safe, timely manner. Please refuel the equipment (see Fuel below) and clean up as much as you can. In the case of customers requiring delivery and pick-up services, please call our office to confirm you are done with the equipment and it can be picked up. Once you call us to let us know you are done with the equipment, we will then schedule pick-up and obtain other information if needed during the pick-up process.

  • Fuel

    Our rental equipment runs on gas, diesel, or propane. Equipment will come to you (the customer) full of fuel upon delivery or pick-up. It is important to make sure you know the fuel type. Customers will be required to fill up the equipment with the correct fuel source before returning or pick-up otherwise; a refueling charge will be added. 

  • Delivery

    Delivery and pick-up are available at preset rates. Please call for a delivery estimate to your specific location. Deliveries and pick-ups should be scheduled in advance; however, we will make every effort to accommodate deliveries with short notice. If you prefer and have the proper transportation equipment, you may pick up and return rental items from our location. 

  • Trailers & Towing

    Trailers are available for rent. Trailer towing capacities are restricted according to the size of the trailer, hitch, and vehicle. Vehicle and hitch towing capacities must be sized properly. If you are not comfortable towing a trailer, we offer delivery at reasonable rates.

  • Operation

    J&R Rental's professional and trained staff will show you the complete operation of the equipment you are renting when it is delivered or when you pick it up from our convenient location. If a question or concern ever arises, please stop using the unit(s) and call us IMMEDIATELY. We want to make sure you can complete the project at hand and in a safe, timely manner. Our equipment is maintained to the highest standard; however, you may encounter problems even when the proper procedures are followed. In rare cases, if an issue cannot be resolved over the phone, a J&R Rental representative will either come out to fix the unit or bring a substitute piece for you to complete your project. We are here to assist you during the entire course of your project with the highest standards of customer service.
